      Hello guys

I would need your help for the schema markup for a medical product. We have companies 'medical' pages and their own products.

We need the best people (like you :p) to confirm the markup implementation we should go for.

      Question 1

      https://aumet.azurewebsites.net/en/medical-manufacturers/Jordan/sun-plastic-medical-materials-industries-co-ltd-209415

      1. Should we list the product with the markup medicalentity https://schema.org/MedicalEntity
      2. Should we list the products with the markup products https://schema.org/Product
      3. Should we add them as List https://schema.org/ItemList or as items owns https://schema.org/owns

      **Question 2 **

      https://aumet.azurewebsites.net/en/medical-manufacturers/Jordan/sun-plastic-medical-materials-industries-co-ltd-209415

      1. Why do have issue with og:property type https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool#url=https%3A%2F%2Faumet.azurewebsites.net%2Fen%2Fmedical-manufacturers%2FJordan%2Fsun-plastic-medical-materials-industries-co-ltd-209415 marked as unspecified type

We added Schema mark-up to our company's NAP information.

It definitely improved our local SEO.

We run a Bristol summer house company.

When we used Yoast SEO, and schema, our SEO improved.

            Discontinued products on ecommerce store

Hi, I have a high number of very-low/zero traffic and zero backlinked product pages that have been discontinued (and wont come back). For these pages we automatically remove them from our website indexes and also removed internal links and then essentially kept the product pages and their urls intact but just added a note saying "no longer available, how about these..." with alternate similar product options. This seems to be the general consensus online for discontinued product pages that have little value. The questions is do I either 404 or noindex these now discontinued pages? What are the pros or cons? Thanks

            Two Domains, Same Products/Content

We're an e-commerce company with two domains. One is our original company name/domain, one is a newer top-level domain. The older domain doesn't receive as much traffic but is still searched and used by long-time customers who are loyal to that brand, who we don't want to alienate. The sites are both identical in products and content, which creates a duplicate content issue. I have come across two options so far: 1. a 301 redirect from the old domain to the new one. 2. Optimize the content on the newer domain (the strongest of the two) and leave the older domain content as is. Does anyone know of a solution better than the two I listed above or have experience resolving a similar problem in the past?

            Google + and Schema

I've noticed with a few of the restaurant clients I work with that Schema isn't contributing at all to their SERP -- their Google + page is. Is there any way to have more control over what Google is pulling to help make UX better? I.e. showing photos of the restaurant without a logo, etc.

Should I increase SEO activity while we are restructuring our B2C service offerings and planning a product relaunch in about 6-8 months?

My company has 2 distinct divisions: a B2B division and a B2C division.  Right now we are restructuring our B2C service offerings and pulling back on marketing spend for B2C so that we can relaunch new B2C offerings in about 6-8 months.  Our current company website will stay in place but will be revamped right before our B2C relaunch (will maintain the same domain). Currently, our company has little to no SEO presence for both B2C and B2B.  I need to know if it is smart for us to increase SEO activity right now for the B2C division, knowing that it can take up to 6 months to get SEO traction so that when we do relaunch we have a strong established SEO presence. Thanks for your sharing your thoughts!

Problem appearing 1 st with a sub page when typing my company name and product

I just did a test typing my company name followed by what I sell
Let's say  "company green widgets " I noticed that my webpage ( which is a subpage ) doesn't appear 1 st on google when i type that keyword.... Either some website that talks about my product appears or my homepage appears. Why is that ? Could it be a canonicalization issue ? Thank you,

Google alerts for products and categories?

I get daily Google alerts for our site and a competitor's site. I have noticed that I am getting multiple alerts a day from Google about products and product categories on the competitor's site. Every now and then there's an actual alert for a linking blog post or something else. How is Google noticing new product on this site but has never done the same for ours? Is there some kind of strategy involved here that I don't know about? The site is http://bit.ly/Q0o2ob

How to keep the link juice in E-commerce to an "out of stock" products URL?

I am running an e-commerce business where I sell fashion jewelry. We usually have 500 products to offer and some of them we have only one in stock. What happens is that many of our back links are pointed directly to a specific product, and when a product is sold out and no longer is in stock the URL becomes inactive, and we lose the link juice. What is the best practice or tool to 301-redirect many URLs at the same time without going and changing one URL at a time? Do you have any other suggestions on how to manage an out of stock product but still maintain the link juice from the back link? Thanks!
