Unsolved Finding broken urls

Hello,
This feels like it should be straightforward but I'm not having much luck.
I have a pdf url which is no longer in use and takes the user to a 404 page.
I want to find all instances of when this pdf url is used on my site so I can update the copy and remove the link.
Please note - a redirect is not the right solution for this issue.

To find all instances of the outdated PDF URL on your site, you can try these steps:
Site Search: Use Google to search for the URL across your site by typing: site:URL o. This will show any pages where the URL is mentioned.
Internal Search Tools: If your CMS has a search function, use it to search for the URL directly within your site's content.
Code Search: If you have access to your site's code repository, perform a search in the code files for the outdated URL to locate every instance where it's used.

Google Search Console Showing 404 errors for product pages not in sitemap?
We have some products with url changes over the past several months. Google is showing these as having 404 errors even though they are not in sitemap (sitemap shows the correct NEW url). Is this expected? Will these errors eventually go away/stop being monitored by Google?

Redirecting Homepage to Subdomain Bad or Good Idea??
I have a very old forum that still gets a lot of traffic, but when migrating over to another software that is cloud based we cannot redirect using same domain, SO the only option would to be to change the cname on a subdomain and then REDIRECT all the traffic from the ROOT domain permanently - would this be a bad move as the root domain wouldnt be used anymore as now its just setup to be redirected in order to use the software we need to use? Domain is 17 years old.

Im Levi new here and new in the world of SEO, please dont judge if my questions are silly. Back on the days when the site was built we thought it is a good ideea to have subdomains that together with the domain name represent our main keywords.
ex. https://stansted.tonorwich.uk, https://heathrow.tonorwich.uk, https://luton.tonorwich.uk, https://gatwick.tonorwich.uk. There is content on this subdomains, would it make any difference from SEO perspective if we create slugs that redirect to these subdomains? for example creating https://tonorwich.uk/taxi-minibus-vip-tesla-norwich-to-stansted that redirects to https://stansted.tonorwich.uk ? Or better create these slugs with slightly different content?
Any ideeas would be appreciated.

Preserving Authority of closed website
Hi, I have the opportunity to acquire a domain of a company that is closing in a similar industry who currently have a decent Authority - 51DA, 5,752 Linking Domains. I cannot do anything with the new business yet but if I acquire the domain the existing website will turn off. If I crawl the existing site and 302 redirect all pages to a holding page on said domain, will that preserve authority while I start the new business and build the new website and like-for-like pages?

Hi Community, has anyone else had a 404 error reported by Moz, where the end of the domain is /%25s? The error comes from my blog home page https://kaydee.net/blog/ But when I look at the source code, I can't see anything that has a space at the end of the URL. I wonder if it is to do with the WordPress search? Thanks in advance for any insight.

When to re-write and redirect a blog url?
What are best practices for rewriting (and then redirecting) blog URLs? I refresh old blog posts on our blog every month and many of them have URLs that are too long or could be improved. However, many of them also already get decent organic traffic and I don't want to lose traffic due to a URL redirect. Are there any best practices or "rules" I can follow when deciding whether to re-write and redirect blog URLs?

Unsolved Why is Moz reporting 308s as 302s?
Got a looooong list of redirect issues in my crawl for a new client, all reported as 302s but as far as I can see they are all 308s... which is perfectly fine, right, or have I missed a memo? They even confirm the 308 status in the moz detail.

That URL is inaccessible Moz grader?
Hi all, I'm having some issues getting my site graded www.balihaiphoto.com + Kauai wedding photographer with On Page grader, where as when I enter another photographer example www.jmoellerphoto.com and getting results.
