Domain Authority is strictly dependent on the amount of quality backlinks you make. Do keep in mind spam score must be low <30. You can check via Moz Bar. Also, it should be niche relevant. For example , in my case, I have made links for my video-editing micro niche website using niche relevant forums. This is by far the best approach and very easy to do as well..

Until its crawler fails to detect hyperlinks pointing to your page, Moz or any other DA checker will not be able to count them. In my opinion, you either need to wait for a Google crawler to find them or start building backlinks anew.
