Can you help me to understand why my traffic from the US is not increasing for landing pages/product pages whereas for our blog it has grown 2X to 3X past 2 quarters?  I am afraid that I don't get any right answer for this. Could you or someone help me to discover the answer?

Also, what should I do to rank in the US for a particular KW, we rank on 2 positions for KW "Hackathon" in India but for the US the no is 56. I don't understand what to do and the best possible way to rank in the US.

To boost traffic to a website originally designed for a different geographic location, it's crucial to tailor your approach to resonate with a US audience. Start by optimizing your content, incorporating US-centric language and addressing topics relevant to American users. Conduct thorough SEO research to identify and incorporate keywords commonly searched by US audiences. Leverage local SEO strategies, including setting up a Google My Business profile, to enhance visibility in US search results. Engage with US users on popular social media platforms and invest in targeted advertising campaigns specifying US demographics. If feasible, create landing pages tailored to the US audience. Actively participate in US online communities and forums, and implement strategic email marketing campaigns. Regularly monitor website analytics to gauge the effectiveness of your strategies, and ensure your site is mobile-friendly, as a significant portion of US users access the internet via mobile devices. This holistic approach aims to not only increase traffic but also to enhance engagement and relevance for a US audience.

I can't make any judgement without looking at Analytics and much more data, but there's a possibility that you might have to consider making a version specifically for the US audience in order to tailor it for readers of that country.

            Hi Rajnish,

Kindly share website which your trying to rank in US and also the keywords which your targeting. Strategies required to rank in US is different from the ones which you use for india.

            Tks

            Regards

              Increase my DA

So, i am a webmaster / specialist in the adult business for over almost 9 years. Very succesfully and with a broad selection of over 70 clients / businesses all over holland, belgium, germany, UK and even the USA. Lately i've created one page purely based on what my website is about. Google took it like sweet butter and immidiatly ranked that up to the top 3 of premium keywords. Imagine others have to build a wide variety of links to even get close to that and i am there with just one link from another domain. I believe that DA and relevancy is a very important role in this factor, otherwise google woud'nt do it that easy. So i recreated this thing again, and extened that one page to now 40+ pages. Everything is going great, all those pages are ranking within the top 10 by now. All unique content and vice versa. Very good! But; when i created some more pages, with all again, unique content, i started to see a small drop here and there, on which i believe is that Google gives me a X percentage of the pie, and once used, the rest slowly starts to suffer such as the pages i created. The pages are very wide and purely focussed on that keyword i am targetting that for alone. Pages which tend to rank 'bad' or are after position 10 i sometimes give an update with another block of text well written and this seems to work. But now i think i am running against some limit on which google allows me to rank, and i believe it has todo something with DA. It's becoming too low for the goal i am trying to archieve. Now i have build 2600 websites or so and since the last 3+ years i've made all the links back to my domain as nofollow. I figured out to create a better DA was the following: purely make the INDEX link from one of those websites i build for client(s), a FOLLOW and the rest of the page(s) as a nofollow. This would be the strongest form of backlinking since the index is the most important one. Would this work? I am not trying to bypass pagerank or anything, just taking credit for the work i've done for alot of clients and only with the intention to improve my DA. I've checked my website nummerous times and adjusted everything according to MOZ insights; all pages are unique and there's no such thing as duplicate content or whatever. Just having all pages which i've created with no backlinks being crammed up to the top 10 is a sign google trusts my domain enough.

We have a site with a lot of international traffic, can we split the site some way?

Hello, We have a series of sites and one, in particular, has around 75,000 (20%) monthly users from the USA, but we don't currently offer them anything as our site is aimed at the UK market. The site is a .com and though we own the .co.uk the .com is the primary domain. We have had a lot of success moving other sites to have the .co.uk as the primary domain for UK traffic. However, in this case, we want to keep both the UK traffic and the US traffic and if we split it into two sites, only one can win right? What could do? It would be cool to have a US version of our site but without affecting traffic too much. On the other sites, we simply did 301 redirects from the .com page to the corresponding .co.uk page. Any ideas?

HELP! My website has been penalized - what did I do wrong?

I have been working on a website Zing.co.nz and have made a sub domain blog.zing.co.nz.   The website is for a company that is yet to launch, so I have been boosting traffic by writing blog posts about the topic (loans) on the subdomain.  I pushed some traffic to the actual website too.  We were climbing the rankings for our brand name but have all of a sudden started to drop.  The domain authority was something like 0.9 and has dropped to 0.3.  (Using SEO Spyglass) The blog was somewhere similar, but has dropped to 0.0!!!  Please help in anyway you can.  These changes have happened within the last 48 hours. If I am getting links on competitor websites, is it safe to assume those competitors are doing this to hurt our SEO?

We have received a few notification from Google Webmaster Tools and Moz that our competitors have "mentioned" our page on their website. This is incredibly odd as you wouldn't think they'd want to do this. Further, when I go to the page that we are supposedly mentioned on, the link to our site is not on the page. What is going on? Thank you in advance for your insights!!

Website that just got hit....Need some tips or ideas...

Hey guys, The website of the company i work hit in the PR update two days ago . A little history , the site was notice by Google about spam links around  5-6 months ago .
Since then there is a company that cleans all the spam links and manage all the disavow process. In the last penguin update ( about two months ago ) the site jumped like crazy in the ranking and stayed there ever since... In the last three months we create less than ten links to the site, and we have focus all our work to improve
              the optimization of the site.
It should be noted that the company is investing a lot in social networks and all the work in the past 3 month are White and clean... Now, two days ago in the PR update (more or less) the site just dropped , but when i say dropped , it's 200 keys that was in page 1-2 that just want out to page 5-6-7. Like the website is gone, i never see something like this... The things that pass through my head: A lot of the links the linking to the site with high PR lost their pr and now they are worthless, but still this drop ? its to extreme.
Or that Google received the disavow and just disavow a lot of links.... Does anyone have any ideas or tips on the subject ? Thank you

Is this website being punished by Google?

Hi,  I just took over the SEO for a friend of mine's website. Is this website being punished by Google?  It has a strong link score, the homepage needs work as far as Key wording goes but it does not appear in Google's top 100 for any keyword.  I am not sure that the last SEO company did some harm.  Can anyone give me some tips on getting my friend back into the mix? www.wallybuysell.com

My Site having a drop in traffic with eash passing month

Hi, I'm running a text message site mixsms.com from 2009. It was performing good till Oct 2012. In the end of Nov 2012 I noticed a drop in traffic and then with each passing month I'm getting 1500-2000 unique visitors drop. In Oct 2012 my daily unique visitors were 15000+ each day and now it is just having 2000 after Feb end. I've done several things to improve my site. I changes the template, removed all unnecessary html elements, changed seo structure (optimize with all modern seo techniques). Stop backlinking from Nov 2012 but instead of getting improvements I'm continuously having a drop in traffic. I'll highly appreciate your time if you look into site deeply to findout exact issues that are causing for this drop. I'm even ready to hire any seo consultant if he is pretty sure to get 100% results. Thanks in advance for your support
