You're off to a great start with Moz Local! It's a powerful tool for boosting your local visibility, which is crucial for a Freelance Digital Marketing Strategist in Malappuram. Here's how to leverage Moz Local to get more clients:

Craft a Compelling Profile: Your Moz Local profile is your online storefront. Make it count!

Business Name: Use a clear and descriptive name that reflects your services (e.g., "[Your Name] - Freelance Digital Marketing Strategist").

Address: While you might not have a physical office, use your home address (if comfortable) or a virtual office address to appear local.

Website: Link to your website, where potential clients can learn more about your expertise and services.

Categories: Choose categories relevant to your niche. "Digital Marketing," "Marketing Consultant," "SEO," "Social Media Marketing," "Content Marketing" are all good options.

Business Description: This is key! Highlight your specific skills, experience, and the value you bring to businesses in Malappuram. Use keywords like "Freelance Digital Marketing Strategist in Malappuram."

Photos: Use professional headshots and visuals that showcase your expertise and passion for digital marketing.

Claim Your Listings: Moz Local will automatically claim your listings across various directories. Verify your ownership and manage them actively.

            Go Beyond the Basics:

Add Services: List your specific digital marketing services (SEO, PPC, social media, content marketing, etc.).

Showcase Client Success: Include testimonials or case studies from happy clients in Malappuram.

Include Location-Specific Keywords: Use keywords like "Malappuram Digital Marketing," "Digital Marketing Services in Malappuram," or "Local SEO for Malappuram Businesses" in your descriptions.

            Engage Your Audience:

Respond to Reviews: Address any questions or concerns promptly.

Monitor Listings: Keep your information up-to-date.

Build Your Online Presence: Engage with potential clients on social media, share your expertise through blog posts or articles, and participate in relevant forums.

Track Your Progress: Moz Local provides analytics to see your listing performance. Use this data to make adjustments and improve your ranking.

Remember, local SEO is a long-term strategy. Be patient, consistent, and use Moz Local to your advantage! By showcasing your expertise, building trust, and providing local value, you'll attract more clients and grow your freelance digital marketing strategist in Malappuram.

How long do Facebook and Google pages have to be published before Moz can verify them?

Hi there.  I've checked the forums and have seen similar questions, but couldn't find an answer in them.  I have a listing that I imported from my Google My Business account, but it comes up as unverified for both Facebook and Google.  Both pages exist, but have only been published for about 3 weeks.  Both sites contain the accurate business information and are the appropriate types of pages, so the best I can determine from what I've read in the other posts is that "newly" published Facebook and Google pages may not be able to be verified by Moz Local. So the question is, what is considered "newly published"? The Facebook business page is:  https://www.facebook.com/JTBentonConsulting/ The Google+ page is:  https://plus.google.com/b/114469171569907148968/+JTBentonConsultingAdamstown?pageId=114469171569907148968&hl=en The name registered for Google My Business is:  J T Benton Consulting - Mobile Notary Public Any ideas?

                  Facebook Disconnect with Moz?

My Moz Local listing was connected fine with Facebook page and now the bar has dropped to the bottom.  Nothing has changed in the FB information.  What happen?  Is this something I should be concerned with? Does this happen often?

                  Moz Local free with subscription?

I am part of an agency managing multiple clients through a Moz Pro Medium subscription. I am interested in using Moz Local for some of my clients, and I was under the understanding that with a subscription Moz Local could be used for free. Can someone please let me know if this is correct and if so how to take advantage of it?

                  Can MozLocal cause duplicate listings?

I had already claimed many of our listings before subscribing to Moz Local, will Moz Local just update those claimed listings or does it use the CSV file to create a duplicate  listings?  Out of nowhere I had about 5 duplicates pop up and am not sure where they came from.  They are a beast to get rid of so hoping there is an easy explanation/fix!

For Operating hours it's not clear (at least to me) what to do if you're not open at all on a day, like Saturday and Sunday. Do I just not put down the 1 and the 7 or add them with 0's. Please provide an example, so I can just cut and paste, if you don't mind. Thanks Moz, Ruben
