If I were to spin up a new site what do people recommend as the best template, services, etc.

Do you have an example of the perfect structure, I want to point my team to an example page and say - This is perfect, do this but for our product (structure, content amount, etc)

      Thank you,

Hi, so we used Avada WordPress, we think it's amazing, we used it for our SEO business.

I recommend this page where you can find a lot of templates for woocomerce. They are pretty good and have good seo structure and logically are paid:

          https://themeforest.net/popular_item/by_category?category=wordpress%2Fecommerce%2Fwoocommerce

I don't know exactly what you want it for: service, product, online business, offline, etc. If it exceeds exactly the web you want to create, it could be more specific.

Ok great, we are currently using WordPress and woo commerce.

Does anyone have any examples of near perfect SEO product pages for online products/e- commerce. I want my team to use it as a template example. "look here copy this but put our content in"

Wordpress and Woocomerce and similar, are not platforms that start from scratch, but they do not bring it all-inclusive either.

You will have to work to manually implement all the products to make it to your needs. Each case is unique and as much as there is something similar to what you are looking for, you will have to customize it.

Anyway, nowadays any platform (Joomla, Wordpress, etc.) are good for SEO in a structural way to how search engines track it.

It already depends on each one's abilities to personalize and optimize the structure and content. The idea is to stand out from the competition. And if it is a saturated niche, this is really very difficult.

              I hope I've helped.

Apologies, online product (reseller), yes taking orders online, enough technical skills to build a site and implement via things like WordPress, etc. Would want to leverage platforms & products vs. build from scratch.

                Thanks!

We're going to need some more information to be able to give you better advice. Right now, this question is similar to asking "what is the best car?" without saying if you need to carry building supplies or ten people or need to tow a trailer.

What product do you sell? Is it a virtual product, or physical product? Do you take orders online? What technical knowledge does your team have? This will help us guide you towards something that better meets your needs.

                    Product Tag Value on SEO

Do product tags for ecommerce sites have any benefit to SEO? Or are they redundant? i.e. thespacecollective.com/astronaut-moldavite-pendant (tags appear below the product name on the right)

                    Structured Data

On our panel for Google webmaster tools we had a problem where there was an error when we did some testing of our products. Missing prices seemed to be the problem. This has now been fixed but on checking when testing it returns the prices in US Dollars. We are a UK company with a number of currency options. Should we be worried about this or should the system return the prices in UK Pounds as this is our main currency? Thank you in advance.

                    SEO for E-Commerce Sites

Hi Everybody, I have two e-commerce sites just launched with not much content at the moment just user login pages for the clients to avail the service. The management is not interested to put much content there i think. Maximum what they will be putting only 5 pages of content in total, not more than this. Any practical tips how to optimize such sites especially when there is not much content. Best

I'm planning the structure of a Car Parts e-commerce site and...

Hi all, As the title says, I am redeveloping a website for a client who sells car parts. The market is saturated with competition and 9 times out of 10, www.eurocarparts.com appears within the top 5 SERPS when searching for the same things that my clients' website sells. Now I know it will be very difficult to compete with the likes of these sites but given time (plenty of time) you never know so I have dissected Euro Car Parts website for many hours to look at their internal link structure and so my question is related to this area. My site only sells car parts for 4 car manufacturers. The left hand "shop" navigation menu will list the categories in which the shop sells products for e.g: Air Filters
                    Break Pads
                    Coilovers
                    Dampers
Suspension etc. When you view one of those pages, there will be a form to allow the user to filter down to their particular make/model of car etc. Now when I search for "Air Filters" in Google, the results come back as nearly 40 million. If I prefix that search term with a car manufacturer name i.e. "Audi Air Filters" the number drops down to 8 million - quite a difference!
So my thinking was to do the following but I wanted to see if you guys think I am barking up the wrong tree or if this is a good approach: Create pages for my 4 car manufacturers for each "shop category" listing all the products I have in those categories for the manufacturer along with well written unique, relevant content, ie:- Audi Air Filters
                    Audi Break Pads
                    Audi Coilovers
Audi Suspension ... this would allow me to target the slightly long-tailed version of "Air Filters" as I now have a page for "Audi Air Filters". This would then mean when users click the "Air Filters" link from my left hand category menu, I would need to ensure that those pages were not indexed by the search engines as they would essentially be showing the same subset of products but with the title of the page being "Air Filters". I hope I have explained myself enough for you to understand my question. Ultimately I want to know if my approach is a typical one when knowing that even attempting to target "air filters" with a new website is going to be a lost cause - I need to try and get some of the lower hanging fruit. Thank you for reading.

Which method should I use for my URL structure?

I have an existing site that is currently utilizing a structure that is like this: http://www.mysite.com/Ohio/City-of-Cleveland-PRODUCT-NAME Should I restructure it like: http://www.mysite.com/Ohio/City-of-Cleveland/Product-Name We are doing very well with very specific searches already but are sometimes coming in 2nd and 3rd place. For example: If I search for CLEVELAND PRODUCT NAME I always come up in the top three and about 60% of the time I am #1. I want to make it better. We have only launched in 4 states but plan on launching an additional 4 states over the next few weeks and I want to make sure we are building things properly. Any feedback would be wonderful. As usual, thanks everyone!! -Alex
